I need to find the the reporting structure in an employee data(managers and their subordinates in an excel data) I have tried to use vlookup formula all to no avail. I nee help urgently.

So I have two tabs. Both have SKU's. I am trying to compare the SKU's from both tabs, and pull the matching qty from the first tab. I've tried VLOOKUP and just LOOKUP but it's not working. Lookup got close, but then put numbers that don't even exist on my first tab.

i am having a couple little problems. I first need the date in cell b3 to stay at the date i started filling the information on the form. I also need the cell b23 to only do the VLOOKUP if cell b12 has data entered into it. my VLOOKUP formula works perfect and i have tried multiple different ways to only have it populate, with out any luck. I know i am missing something simple. please help.

I'm using a simple IF formula that won't return the correct results because it's pulling from a cell that has a VLOOKUP formula in it. It's not recognizing it as a number.

Hello I have an mlb spreadsheet that is in the works and I need help with doing a VLookUp. If the batter is facing a Left handed pitcher (If G2=L) I would like to pull data from Tab "Hitter stats Left" or if a batter is facing a Right handed pitcher (G2=R)... I would like it to pull data from tab "Hitter stats Right". Any help would be appreciated.

I am having trouble with the VLookup and grabbing general numbers from a chain. For example, I have a list of charges that I want to label and they are all Speedway with slight variations ("Speedway 9912"; "RBT Speedway"; "Speedway" etc.). All I want VLookup to do is put a label next to this as "Gas" and in the VLookup section I would just have "Speedway." This way I do not have to worry about exact matches. Yet when it is set up, it only pulls the last item in the VLookup.

I'm stuck in vlookup function in a specific condition, seeking for help or better function to solve the problem.

Hi, i'm trying to do a vlookup up formula in column N, this looks to match the values in column L with the values in column B and return the value from column E. The data in columns A:F is updated with a macro. The data in J:N is used in a report. I know what the problem is, that the date and time in column B has an extra space between the date and time, hence why the vlookup wont work. But i dont know how to solve this? The data that the macro takes from another worksheet does not have this extra space in it.

How can I add a filter or vlookup to comeup with just the keyword
